Opinions of experts are sharply differing regarding the role and position of China on Covid-19. With further investigations and exposes we will come near to the truth.
Novel Corona is so far the most complicated challenge to human existance. The world is getting quite furious against China. U S President Trump has started inquiry about Chinese connection with this anti-human issue. This is a way to check as to how honest, open and responsible Chinese government is in upholding and sharing the truth with the world community. Australia and some other allies of America are also putting pressure on it for effective inquiry.
Whether Covid-19 is nature created or man made, one thing is obvious. Covid-19 is going to be the mmediate factor for further action. The autocracies of China, North Korea & so others must be forced to go. If the Chinese authorities continue with their autocratic, non-transparent and irresponsible designs, America would like to deal with China in the same way as was done with autocratic regimes of Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. though it is not so simple with China. Whether China proves to be creator of this virus knowingly or else in its lab or market, it’s habit of hiding information and autocratic dealing is sooner or later going to put China into trouble.
Most of the world is with America on this issue. But without ensuring support of Russia, this struggle will be very complicated and challenging. In fact, USA and Russia are competing with each other for superpower position. China has also entered in this game of supremacy. Russia knows its critical value here. To deal with this challenge three options are available:
1) Why not tackle China through the United Nations. Then USA will not be criticized for working as the self-assumed world police through its own national laws—a long-lasting scar which is going to be labeled on it even if it emerges victorious. But this option is not feasible due to weak and vulnerable position of the UNO. If the WHO can play under influence of China and it’s allies, why not the UNO.
2) The USA can change its selfish capitalist ways into socialism to ensure better commitment from more socialized Europe and with this changed position it can try to win Russian support with more conviction. India may support this process. Both should go with world fraternity.
3) Along with the second option, India and the world community at large may try to promote egalitarian tendencies with a truly democratic, universal, federal, science and justice oriented world government. Capitalism and communism are anti-democratic designs to capture and enjoy unfettered politico-economic power. India has also to mend its ways of capitalism & crony capitalism. The global system that has been going on so far is becoming irrelevant. The WHO, the IMF, the World Bank and even the UN, have proved to be very weak in this ongoing capitalist order. A complete moralist model of world government has been proposed under Progressive Socialism or PROUT ideology. As the term progressive socialism is being misutilized by cunning polititions, I prefer to use PROUT as the ideology. A science & technology-oriented democracy based on PROUT is badly needed. World Constitution and Parliament Association (WCPA) led by Prof. Glen T. Martin has done much work on world law and constitution to provide a ready concrete document for any such world federation or government. This world federation or government will regulate the behavior of its constituent units to ensure survival, growth and welfare of all in this universe.
